I would never forget about all you crazy people lol. Just kidding about the crazy part :P I've been on this site for about 4 years and have had a blazer for about 5 years

I've been a furry for about 2 years but a fursuitter for about 8 months. This is my first time being in the full outfit though. Cost me total 500$, but the amount of fun I had in it made it completely worth it. The convention I just got back from in Pittsburgh raised over 10,000$ for a charity, and also brings in over 4M$ in tourism to the city. I got hugs from kids, and adults alike. It's amazing how many people actually just vacation to come to the convention to see the furries lol. I'm sooo glad I got into this hobby, never have I done anything soo much fun in my whole life As of right now, I am working on having my current fursuit redone to make it easier to move and have some things touched up and also I have another character (fursona as we call it) made up and am going to have that made into a fursuit as well for next year. His name is Stattik Husky. He's a green, black, and yellow husky who can create lightning. For anyone in the Pennsylvania area who wants to come out next year and check it out, it's usually the last weekend in June and the convention center in downtown Pittsburgh. Although through all this, my blazer will def not be put on the back burner. i have plans for a small system as well as some exterior mods as well The best part about being a furry is bringing smiles to peoples faces when they see you. It's like disney world to kids lol.

I have seen the episode of CSI as well, and that is the BIGGEST stereotype of the furry fandom I have ever seen!!!! For a better view on the furry fandom, watch these

YouTube - ‪~ The Furry Fetish - Attack of the Show G4 tv ~‬‏
YouTube - ‪OMG with Peaches Geldof - Furries‬‏

And if anyone is wondering, prices for one of these usually depending on who you get one from can range from a few hundred to thousands of dollars depending on design, colors, and everything else

And if anyone wants to add me on facebook, my facebook name is David Sutak, but I am a little different on facebook than I am on here. Just wanted to say that lol. Just let me know you are from here, cause I get like 2-10 friend requests a day if not more from furries.

Here's a few other videos of what we do at conventions....
There is a masquerade act/talent show:

Rave in a fursuit, how DO they insure the building for that? I'd like to see a mosh pit full of people in suits.

Thanks cbr995

haha TripleBlack :P It's hard to do cause it gets HOT in there quickly. Some people rig CPU fans with battery packs and stick them int he head somewhere to create air conditioning lol. I'm working on that for myself

That was just a little dance show that they put on on the roofdeck of the convention center. The black and green guy is Monster Roo, he's one of my fav dancers in the fandom. The dance competition they do indoors in the con arena. Kwik Cheetah, ~V~, Mangusu (Monster Roo), Teef, Doryuu, and JD Puppy are some good dancers. A few of those are in that video. Here's a few from last year.

Teef : YouTube - ‪Teef - Anthrocon 2010 Fursuit Dance Competition‬‏
~V~: YouTube - ‪V - Anthrocon 2010 Fursuit Dance Competition‬‏
Monster Roo: YouTube - ‪FWA 2011 Dance Competition HD - Mangusu‬‏

And the con videos from the last two years :
2009- YouTube - ‪Anthrocon 2009 - Invaders Must Die‬‏
2010- YouTube - ‪Anthrocon 2010 - The Panic‬‏

Sounds to me like someone wants to hug a furry :P It's like cuddling with a giant stuffed animal lol. And in my case, I take giant to a whole nother level lmao. For anyone wondering, I am really 6'6", so when i put on the suit I'm about 7' tall

I've only been doing this for less than a year, I picked up the interest in about august of 09 but never decided to actually become a fursuitter until about june 0f 2010 and started in october of 2010 when i got my suit from the person who made it. I've been to two conventions and plan on my third this coming october here in CT. And also plan on going miniature golfing in october for halloween with a group of friends in our fursuits. That should turn some heads lmao :P

If I get a cool day here soon, I'll take a pic of me in my suit with my blazer Gotta wash it first, it's FILTHY from all the driving I did over the weekend. Did almost 24 hours worth of driving spanning 5 days O_O

You speak of raving in a fursuit, I used to work at alot of raves, and there was one person that always wore a fursuit, the only person who would know if it was a man or woman is the person checking ID's at the gate... The suit was never off.

Also, DEADMAU5 is a fursuitter as well. The guy DJs in a big helmet and suit, check him out.
