Okay, pretty self explanatory. You decide to buy a couple tickets, and BOOM! Your numbers show up for the jackpot of $330 million! What would be your first purchase?

I'd live debt free for the rest of my life.
Kick-***-not-necessarily-a-mansion-house, handful of nice cars, enough left over money that when I kick the bucket my kids get a **** load of cash, once they get a good education.

yup, Pat & i think alike.
almost!
while i'm not really into having a large house (my 2000 sq ft house i have now is fine), i do need a nice shop, say about 5, maybe 6000 sq ft.
i had a 2600 sq ft unit before with my brother & 2 other friends, and while it was adequate, it just suited what we needed (it fit 6 cars comfortably with work space for 2 more, a 15 X 20 office/washroom/storage room, and had aprox a 800 sq ft mezzanine).
but having about 12 cars i would buy-without question-i need a good deal of space to store & maintain them. plus all of the other "stuff" i do.
kinda pissed off this morning-especially after finding your thread Matt..........someone in the GTA had won Friday's $50M LottoMAX prize. and before i could get in to check it this morning, it was anounced that 19 office workers @ Bell (in Scarborough) had claimed it. would've rather found out @ the store, than hearing it on the radio!
plus, i didn't even win one of the extra MAXmillion's that was up for grabs!

Well ti may not be my first but I would definitely "invest"
Which, with that kinda money means buying a few bars, Tim Hortons, McDonanlds. You know, the money makers lol.
Then cars, trucks, bikes, toys, lakes, towns lol j/k. I would buy a nice place on Shebesheking lake in Parry sound. Wait scratch that. Buy all the grumpy old peoples places on that lake so I could do what I wanted when I wanted.
Lots more too but I would probably live like Rob Dyrdek for the rest of my life. Any one watch Fantasy Factory last night lol Youtube/MTV.ca it.

You really don't need but a few million after taxes to never have to work again.
2,000,000 @10% a year or even at 5% if 100K is enough for you.
