Yep. Some years ago, I had a '68 Coronet 500 convert B5 blue/blue interior. I had a moderately built 383 4bbl to replace the 318 it came with. My goal was to build a Super Bee convertible clone, along the lines of the original '68 Bee show car. Since Dodge never made any real Bee converts, it seemed like a natural.

Unfortunately, a well-timed divorce forced the sale to a friend. He built it up pretty nice, narrowed rear, aluminum headed 512 big block with SixPack induction, blah, blah, blah.

The dream lives on, but it'll have to wait until my kid graduates.

well, at least it lives on in name & spirit.

my Dart is kinda like that. 22 yr old body job-on a Canadian car-in dire need of a new shell, but i've gotta wait another 8 to 10 years before i can think about that. in the same boat as you, my kids need to get out, hahahahaha!

If you could fill a garage up with your favorite cars/trucks what would they be? Mine is:

1957 Bel Air sport coupe- 327, red with white wings and red interior

1969 Chevy short bed- 350, black, lifted 6" on 35's

2006 Corvette GS- Yellow w/ black wheels, 6-speed, Targa top

2008 Solstice- 427 Vette swap, convertible, black

1. H1 hummer
2. 99 Isuzu hombre (because even though it is a retard it still hold sentimental value)
3. Aston Martin One 77(only 77 were made but I will have one)
4. 1974 Boss 302 Mustang
5. BMW Z4 roadster with an M package Hardtop
6. Chrysler Turbine (only a few were made but they had a jet engine and could run on anything flammible)
7. Chevy corvet Sting ray ( they all almost look the same so any year)
8. 2011 Victory vegas 6spd 106 CI
9. Suzuki intruder 1400 vtwin
10.1978 honda cb550K in a cafe style
11. 1944 P-38 J model (If I had one I would fit it in my garage so no complaining)

Car 2: 69 Yenko Super Camaro - 427cid (7.0L) Chevrolet V8 - 3 spd auto or 4 spd standard
Car 3: 70 Chevelle SS - 396 cu in (6.5 L) Big-Block V8 - 4 spd standard
Car 4: 84 Camaro Z28 - 350 built from the ground up - Auto
Car 5: 2012 Lamborgini (Gotta have something overly flashy and expensive)
Car 6: 2012 Camaro SS - Keep the new classics
Car 7: 2012 z06 Corvette - In a perfect world I would own one...
Car slot 8-10: Filled with a lift and tools. Spare parts, motors, etc..

Yeah thats about my dream garage.. muscle muscle and more muscle... except the lambo.. hell ill take the cuda and yenko and be overly content with just those
