Nice car too! I LOVE the digital dash in these. So space age and neat for late 80's early 90's lol Can I get a little more info on it?
very close, its a 90 Z24. i searched for months to find a 90 5spd as it was the first year for the 3.1L and the last year of that body style

what kind of info you want about it? i made the fenders and hood for it and installed some BMW headlights, shaved trunk and then bought the kit and modified the front bumper so it was a one off

old *** oic but the trunk got fully shaved and rear plate moved to bumper and i ditched those tailights that i made for some 91-94 lights

I wish I had pictures of my first car, it was a dumpy hand me down 1990 chevy caprice station wagon classic, white with fake woodgrain vinyl down the side. The only good thing about the car is it was loaded with power everything. The only thing that didn't work was the mirrors. Apparently when my sister and I were kids we liked to push in the adjusting ****. I guess my parents got tired of fixing it so they just never did it after the first time. The woodgrain was half peeled off. Headliner was held up by staples, sun visors were sagging down to a blinding level, fixed that with a stapler and some rubber bands. My friends called it the ******* wagon, then after the staples and headliner ordeal they called it the hearse. I was the first of my friends with a license and wheels so they didn't complain. Packed in 8 people comfortably a couple of times, the suspension did not like me on those days, bottomed out on EVERYTHING. Got me to work and school, only had to spray carb cleaner in it about every 3 days to get it to start in under 10 seconds. The car had its faults but to this day my butt has not touched more comfortable seats. My next vehicle was a 2002 Ford Focus, which sucked because I was pretty much forced into it whenever my sister was unable to make payments on it. They ended up making me switch my payed for Hearse for a car that was 6 months into the note. Never get a ford focus, they are the cheapest cars ever. I had the worst luck with that car, brake master cylinder went out, egr tube busted, driver side seatbelt wouldn't release, key got jammed in the ignition making it unable to turn over or remove the key. The power steering went out, apparently the power steering pump just decided to explode. Somehow when shifting into reverse on an incline to back out of a parking spot the transmission slipped reverse causing the car to roll forward into a light pole. Replaced motor mounts, twice. Harmonic balancer once. Had to fix a bad ignition coil. Replaced the driver side mirror once when one day as I was approaching it a gust of wind broke the mirror off, fixed that with some 3m gasket sealer, worked wonders. Transmission was begging to slip. To put the icing on the cake a week after paying it off some guy in his POS 80's monte carlo with 24" rims had one of his rims shear off the axle and slam my car. I was inside my apartment not knowing what happened but this ******* collected the wheel and had his crap towed out quickly. My neighbors told me about the incident later not knowing that his rim had hit anyones car. That car was bad jojo, ended up selling it for 2400 dollars (never got the body damage fixed, just pulled the fender out so it would stop trying to ruin the brand new tires I had on the rear) after purchasing my current ride, an amazingly cherry 2002 Chevy Blazer with 24k miles, compliments of my grandfather who maybe drove 2 miles every other day with it. So to sum it all up don't buy a ford, unless its one of the new Mustangs with the 5.0, those are pretty sick rides. That concludes my novel of ford hate with exception to the mustang and Chevy love.

So many many years ago (12 yrs) my 1st car was a 1987 Chevy caprice Station wagon, yeah it had three row seating and a 305! She was full of rust and dents but would haul *** even with 15 people in it! Sadly at the time I was ignorant to anything automotive and I seized the engine at 80 mph. Pulled the plug and filter not a drop of oil D'oh!

my first car was a 1978 chevrolet monte carlo landau. i spent 2 years rebuilding and restoring it. my parents had it for 16 years before i got it and ive had it for the past 14 years. gonna pass it on to my kids if they want it. i have pics of it on my profile page, and am still changing the car. have recently bagged it, replaced the front end with '84 2wd s10 hubs and 2" drop spindles and put sum 15" chevy rallys on it. next on my list is to spruce up the interior. redid it 7 years ago and is still in amazing shape but i want different.......but that ish aint cheap so itl wait. this isnt my daily driver anymore, was for 7 years but have since got another rig and just use this as a show rig.

My first car was an 88 Mercury Grand Marquis my mom bought for me for $250, all it needed was a destributor cap and tires. I didnt mind it, it was comfortable and had power. I smoked a deer in it and destroyed the front end, so I ended up demoing it. Then I got an 89 Blazer 2 door 4.3 4x4. I drove that until my friend realiazed that the body wasnt attached to the frame anymore, it was rusted completely off. Then I got a 92 Grand Am, to date its the car Ive had the longest (3yrs) I customized it and drove it until the motor stopped working, at 275K miles on a quad 4 engine, we got our 400 bucks worth. I scrapped it in 08. Then for a graduation present my dad bought me a 95 Grand Am, I drove it a few months and traded it for a 98 Blazer. It was a great truck but developed a lot of problems in a short amount of time so I traded it for a 95 Sonoma that was lifted on 35s. I sold that and got a 1990 Bonneville for better mpgs. I sold it some months later and got a 92 Blazer 4 door 4.3 4x4. I used it to deliver mail, got blown of the road during a blizzard, that ruined the 4x4 and ripped the brake lines out, also the door was hardly on as it was due to rust. So I scrapped that one and got a 1990 2 door Blazer 4.3 4x4, drove that until the tranny was starting to go out. So my dad then bought me a 99 Monte Carlo. I had that for a year and a half, then traded it for a 93 Blazer. Shortly after that I traded my snowmobile for an 87 GMC S-15 with a 2.8 and 4x4. I sold that and got a 90 Sundbird but that was a disappointment, it got CRAP mileage. so sold that. I kept the 93 until the motor started going. Sold that and got a 97 Cavalier. I loved that car the only thing Ive done to it was put tires on it and give it an alignment. I got a loan for a 97 Blazer (current ride) and I havent had a major problem with it. I sold my cavalier to help out a friend (the money didnt hurt either) and early next week Ill be getting a 2000 Impala. This seems like a list a 35 year old would have but Im only 24,lol. Thats my history and Im sticking to it... Thanks for reading.

Mine too had the Olds 305 in it. Was a good motor, that vehicle had 200k on it when it was handed down to me from my mother. It was a strong motor but mine wasn't fast by any means. I could only get the tires to break loose in the rain. The vehicle finally let go a couple of years ago, transmission issues from my sister not doing any maintenance on the vehicle. Mine looked like this, http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...rice_wagon.jpg except It had steel wheels with the hundred spoke hub covers.
