My first car was a 1996 Mazda MX-3 Precidia with a 1.8L V6, 5 spd.
Car was fun as hell to burn around in as it was so short/wide and it was indeed speedy... Maxed it out at 217 KM/h. took corners like a dream! I out this car through hell tho...Jumped a snow bank just to name a time..Left the cty and the pile of snow was powder...came home and it was frozen solid...All i can say is that the front bumper cover took all of the abuse and when i sold the car with 200,00 Kms it only had a small oil leak and that was it.
Bought it with 150,00 for $6,000 and sold it year and a half later for $5,500 .

Heres a picture of it!

Goodness. Mine was an 1984.5 Datsun (By Nissan) 720 king cab, 4x4, 5spd. with the Z24 (2.4Ltr) 4 cyl. The first vehicle I had seen with 2 spark plugs on each cylinder. I bought the truck for $200. It didn't have Reverse (Drove my mom nuts doing 180's in the yard to point the nose towards the road) and the throw out bearing was going do I ghad to hold it in 5th gear if I wanted to use it. Had 273K on it when I sold it for $200 a couple years later...Had an update three months ago from the guy that bought it from me...Still running with out reverse and throw out still bad, now has 350K on it six years later.

tell me about it! i just had this same conversation with some friend's of mine the other day. or how about the kids that expect to have access to any of your vehicles when they become old enough tohave a licence.

a friend of mine was asking my son (who just turned 9 in September) if he could wait to "get your hnds on Dad's 'Burb?" the smart boy that he is, promptly said he's not gonna touch it.

smart boy, i trained him well. he's even smarter to not even think about driving the Dart.

anyways.......my first ride was a 1979 Buick LeSabre 4 door. had the s**ty 301 in it, which i broke-hard-and replaced it with a Olds 350 Rocket. luv'd that car, and i'm always on the lookout for another one. it was the two tone cream w/dk gold billboard down the side. my Dad gave me the stock GM Rallye rims from his '72 Chevelle (the stamped steel one's with the recessed trim ring) for it. had it for 3? 4? years, 'til a drunk driver tried putting us into a telephone pole one night with his pick up. didn't work, she pushed back just as hard. she saved our asses that night, but lost the battle with the insurance adjuster

here's some pic's of a 2 door in the same colours that i found on the web; just ignore the Crager's, and all the damn stickers that are on it.
