Default '01 Blazer

Hey, i've searched the forums, but no good answers. I'm wanting to lower my blazer 2/3. What all would it take and who is the best to buy from ? I want to go with spindles up front and blocks in the rear. Thanks

if you wanna go with spindles and blocks, then buy 2in drop spindles and 3in blocks, install them, get an alignment and ur set.

Agreed, that's the easiest and cheapest way. I did it on my '01 xtreme and it took maybe 4 or 5 hours since it was my first attempt, but I did coils instead of spindles.

I think I used the Ground Force kit

I really liked the stance it gave.

...but as for ride comfort it definitely lost a lot of it's smoothness. You will quickly become a driver who avoids as many potholes and speed bumps as you can.

Adding some dropped shocks might help, but I'm not 100% sure on that

i got a 01 with a 2/3 rop and looks good, wish i would go an inch lower but im moving to germany for 3 yrs and i still have a laundry list of crap i have to fix while i was gone on deployment which includes wiring of the full overhead console, and a/c problems and installing drop shocks. it was awesome coming back from deployment and found out that it had been stripped of a bunch of crap. but its coming along slowly but i will be posting pics of it once shocks are done. i havent been on here in a while...
