Just wanted to pop in and see if anyone has used the Belltech 627ND kit (or something of the like made by Belltech) on their 2nd gens (bonus points if you've ran 235/75r15 on swirlies with it). Tried to search the forums via part number and came up empty handed. The kit itself is a 3/3 drop with coils and blocks. Gotta replace the control arms on the front so figured I'd just take the plunge and knock out the springs and shocks as well.
Doesn't have to be the most comfortable ride out there, just wanted to see how Blazer Forum felt about Belltech. I've used DJM and McGaughey's in the past, but not these guys. Thanks!

I’ve had good luck with Belltech on my truck, but I used their drop spindles and 3 inch blocks. Factory springs all around with Belltech’s Street Performance shocks.
I also installed a heavier front sway bar, urethane bushings, an Xtreme frame cross brace and a factory Xtreme rear sway bar. Steering box is a Lee 9 to 1 non-variable ratio Saginaw 800 with a 40 pound internal torsion bar and universal replacing the rag-joint.
My summer wheels are 18 inch Iroc replicas with 265/45 R18’s on all four.
Overall handling is firm and steering is spot-on. I’d say it handles at least as good as a third-gen Iroc or Trans-Am.
Your tire choice and shocks should soften up the ride a bit compared to mine. If I were in your shoes my only concern would be to see if the front spring rate matches your overall goals. The folks over at Belltech were pretty helpful the last time I spoke to them, and I’m sure they could answer that or any other questions you may have during a quick phone call.
