The procedure for a 30 minute Security relearn is: (make sure you have a fully charged battery and a charger on the battery so it doesn't get run down).

1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
2. Attempt to start the engine, then release the key to ON, vehicle will not start.
3. Observe the SECURITY telltale, after approximately 10 minutes the telltale will turn OFF.
4. Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds.
Repeat steps 1 through 4 two more times for a total of 3 cycles/30 minutes, the vehicle is now ready to relearn the Passlock™ Sensor Data Code and/or passwords on the next ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK.
Important: The vehicle learns the Passlock™ Sensor Data Code and/or password on the next ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK. You must turn the ignition OFF before attempting to start the vehicle.

Start the engine, the vehicle has now learned the Passlock™ Sensor Data Code and/or password.
With a scan tool, clear any DTCs if needed, history DTCs will self clear after 100 ignition cycles.

Default Security relearn rem

I'm pretty sure did that. I will try again tomorrow. If I sit in the car, what happens is, I crank it? It starts and dies. security light after about a second or 2. We'll go off and then come right back on steady. Key is still on. eleven minutes, it's still steady never goes out.
I tried it not being in the car. But that gave a different outcome.. the light just kept blinking during the eleven minutes.

Default Security relearn

Yeah I tried it three times. Same result. Turn ignition on.the security light stays on for a quick second and then goes off. I try to start the car. It starts and dies..I leave the ignition on. Security light immediately goes out for a quick second, and then comes on solid It. And never goes out during the ten minutes. I tried it three times in a row, same result.
