Default 2000 Jimmy 2 Door

Hey, My name is Dave I live in London ontario and have recently purchased my first 4X4 which is a 2000 jimmy 2 door sls. Im new to this forum but not to the auto forum world. So far i love my Jimmy but it has been an interesting first month.

Bought the truck on a nice sunny warm day about 2 hours away from home drove it home with the heat off, next day went to put on the heat and htere was none! turns out water pump was leaking and there was no coolant in the motor but my temp was normal all the way home going down the highway lol. replaced the water pump now heat works great.

first time i put it up on a the jack last week only to discover that driveres side wheel bearing was absolutely shot!! tire movement side to side and up and down with barely the preasure of a finger tip..... replaced wheel bearing no issues now.

Idler arm was shot replaced that the truck now drives like a dream....

things that are still giving me a headache.

> floor heat does not work every other position works but when i put it on floor it just blows out the front defrost outlets?

> gas gauge dances all over the place low fuel to full tank seems to only happen after i am under half tankish????

> Turn signal relay clicks randomly and sometimes none stop ive tried 3 different ones still clicks.... drives me nuts.

any suggestions on the above would be greatly appritiated.

just got some 31" BFG land terrains for it and a holly terminator mufffler sounds excellent.

here are some pics before i got 31's lol.

Welcome, nice looking truck!

Question: In the last pic, how did you manage to get out of the truck and on top of it with the sunroof closed w/o getting all muddy? lol

Welcome from Auckland New Zealand.

I like the mud bit but I'd NEVER climb up on my truck!

You step on the tire and then onto the hood

And Welcome to the forum from Nova Scotia man!! Great to see more Canadians on here. We're going to take over eventually lol. Awesome pics too. looks as though you use your truck as it was intended - for having fun!
