2000 Jimmy 4wd with Blazer wheels
Hi Guys and Gals,
Just wanted to say hello and thanks for all the knowledge gained to help me fix my Jimmy. I just got done removing and replacing my auto tansmission. Once out, I took it to a tranny shop and had new sun gear installed. After installing, I would turn the key and the starter would engage right away. I was not turning the key to start. I was getting power to small solenoid wire by starter. After checking over, under, around, I found a reference to remove the BU/LP fuse above driver wheel well. If removing it solved the problem, replace the neutral safety switch. I replaced the neutral safety switch and it has started properly since.
Regards,
David

Thanks for the welcoming from Ohio. Anybody know when I will be able to view pictures, post some answers and ask questions? I almost have my Jimmy to where I can trust it for 10-20 miles without having to call AAA. I have 3 tows in my membership and used up 1 for venturing more than 20 miles. It seems 20 miles is my Jimmy's limit for now.

You should be able to post a new thread in all but the classifieds section. Find the section you need on the main page, then there will be a button at the top and bottom of the page that says New Thread. Of course it is always appreciated when you do at least a preliminary search before starting a new thread.
Hi Thogert,
I just tried to answer to a guy having 4wd front dif problem since I just got through replacing shift fork area internals, acctuator cable and housing. I was told I don't have permission to post.
