2001 Blazer
New blazer owner here for about a month. Love the truck but wow, a lot of problems with these vehicles. where can I post for tranny help?

you can post tranny issues in "engine and transmission" section
i have had my ride for about 8 years now...i have put 130k on it my self...previous owner had 100k on it...so with that being said i believe these rides to be very reliable when maintained....with 230k on the clock the only major issue i had was the lower intake gasket...which is a poor design issue.
otherwise i find the vehicle as a whole very solid....now with all that being said i know they are still just machines and prone to have issues...pick a car that doesnt.
however, if i lost my ride to some accident or anything.....
....i would by another one in a heart beat.
yes i love my blazer

Thank you and I agree. Like the blazer alot, just everything hitting me all at once. Did manifold gasket last week and now transmission is just about gone.

Apparently he did, it got a new paint job and when I test drove it it was fine except for suspension issues which I can understand. I replaced all the ball joints and the shocks the first week I had it. I guess I'm involved in an overhaul now.

sounds like you got a "rescue"
i never understood people that beat the crap outta a car and wonder why it never lasts.
my favorite is the person who turns a corner and blows a tie rod or ball joint...leaving their two fronts going in opposite directions...and they wonder why!?!
