owning a K5 is the next best thing to having a 'Burb, IMO, hahahahaha!

Smile suburban too

i love my blazer but i love having my 03 suburban too. it fits perfect for all my kids (4). the burban is not tricked out at all though, my wife is to short.

yeah, the new ones are nice, but i prefer my '90 6.2 'Burb over them, any day of the week.
the biggest bitch about the Suburban's is they stopped the option of having a diesel in them after '99. duuuumb move GM, dumb move.

about a year and a half ago i saw an article in one of the diesel magazines for a 3/4 suburban diesel that they were going to start production on and it looked bad ***. the economy screwed that up. it had flared fenders on the back w/ what looked like a super slick. i told my wife that was her next truck. if they come out with it... there will be one in my driveway.

there's a company (in Texas i think) that'll do DuraMax conversion to your 'Burb, for $35K-or something like that-but it involves a 3" body lift. apparently the 6.6 is a hell of alot bigger than the last generation trucks were.

wonder if it would fit in our 2nd/3rd gen trucks without the BL? wouldn't matter, i'm planning on swapping in a 5.9, when the $ flow is better.
