Default 99' Blazer

whats going on everyone. big fan of blazers first time owner but i have always wanted one. Well i went to an auction last night and managed to walk away with a 99 blazer 4wd for just over a grand. im taking it today to have all the fluids changed out on it. the only downfall that i have noticed is that the breaks are a little loose on it. now it might just be some air in the lines and the mechanic said he would check it out for me, now if i end up having to replace the pads in it what would be my best option. also i am planning on putting on some more aggressive tires for trails and up here in Michigan the snow comes down pretty well. what would be my best option for tired I'm looking for a good street Off road combination.. any input would be great. and i look forward to being a part of this site. thank you.

Welcome to the forum.

Changed out the wife's brakes for Bendix Ceramics and they are very VERY nice. I will be doing the same when mine are needed.
Tire wise there is an area of the forum dedicated to just that. BFG A/T's, General Grabber A/T 2's, Cooper Discoverer stt's, and a few others all seem to be very well recieved...
