American in Norway :)
Hello,
A bit about the driver -
I'm not a native Norwegian but I have lived here about 4 years now, I originally hail from Pennsylvania. I just purchased my 1996 Chevrolet Blazer LT. Named him "Crowley"
I have some cosmetic repairs to do but it is otherwise sound, reliable and by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. I had a 1994 Blazer for about a year before I moved so I am not a total stranger to the S-10 Blazer
Looking forward to learning more. and yes, I'm a girl, a proud mother of two and I have always maintained my own vehicles (I don't fear the grease or grime)
A bit about Crowley-
Crowley as I mentioned is an 1996 4wd 4 door s-10 LT. I have included pictures and will let them speak volumes for him. Very reliable, I'm extremely impressed. My 1994 was beaten half to death and the rust had nearly eaten all four quarter panels so knowing luxury was not the case especially with the 4wd shot on it and nothing but a set of mudding tires to run on and a bent frame (joy of joys!) Still I liked it so when I had to do away with my 95 Grand AM SE and this was on the market I was eager to see it. Now we have it, a good bit of cosmetic work needs to be done, I plan to rust treat the underside, some cosmetic things in need of repair are the front bumper (yes its tape on there and NO I did NOT put it there) at least one of the fender flares is broken and needs to be replaced. Crowley is the family vehicle, and will do all the long distance traveling including to and from Norway to Sweden and even into Germany. Something of importance to be noted is that Crowley is both Unleaded and LPG (Liquid Propane Gas) format and can switch between both, making travel costs much less than average vehicles. I have posted a few questions regarding Crowley in the 2nd Gen forum
I hope to find a few friendly faces here ^^
Could someone please take a moment to help me with this - https://blazerforum.com/forum/2nd-generation-s-series-1995-2005-tech-41/safety-belts-mysterious-buttons-spare-tire-carrier-din-questions-50049/
Warmest Regards,
Mea
