Hello all! I am a new member here from Atlanta, GA. I recently purchased a 2000 Blazer from a good friend of mine. We roomed together throughout college and remained friends. I stayed in GA and he moved out to Colorado. During his last visit back to GA, I asked if he was interested in selling his Blazer (he recently bought a Grand Cherokee as the blazer was only 2wd and did not work so well in the snow). Since he had another SUV, he was kind enough to sell me the blazer for a steal.
I have had a lot of great memories in the blazer from blasting through puddles during the flash floods in Atlanta--including one that hydrolocked the engine, it was a deep puddle--to some great times in New Orleans. The latest memory with the car was making the cross country trip from CO back to GA.
The journey from CO started at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, as that seemed to be the best weekend to pick-up the blazer
. If you ever get the chance to see that race, take it!
The Blazer now serves its duties as my daily driver, mountain bike hauler, camping gear hauler, dog hauler, home improvement material hauler and soon to be dirt bike hauler.
If you made it this far, thanks for reading. I cannot believe how well this website is organized--the code information and troubleshooting section has already made diagnosing some simple problems a brainless task. TO whomever set all of that up: THANK YOU! I visit a lot of car forums, and this one is hands down full of the best and easiest to find information.
