Hi folks. It's nice to join your community.
I live in Mesa AZ and in summer of 2016 I bought a tired, very dry, very dusty 1988 K5 Silverado. The tilt column was just flopping and I assume that's why the guy I bought it from gave up on it a year or so before I bought it. Many of you will know (I didn't) that the tilt columns in these are notorious for the four little screws in the very center of the guts backing out. Apparently Loctite is the answer. Story for another time. Anyway, I've wanted a 4 wheel-drive for over 40 years. I really like this truck and intend to fix it up to be my daily driver.
I'll have lots of questions.
Thanks

I hear ya, I have some family that lives in Tucson, it is amazing how drastic landscape can change from my neck of the woods to Arizona The desert area out there does have the most beautiful night time skies I have ever seen though!
