Hello all, yep, another newbie from the Bayou state. I grew up in New Orleans, but then moved up to the northwest corner of the state in Shreveport. I recently got a hold of a 1997 blazer 4x4. It was donated to my by my brother who just purchased a new Trailblazer and decided to let me have his Blazer instead of trading it in. Only catch was I had to tow it up here from his house in Baton Rouge, about 300 miles from me. I finally got it up here about a month ago, towed it on a Uhaul trailer with my main ride, my 2001 Suburban. I frequent the site GM-TRUCKS.com and was referred to this site by another member. Most of the gm-trucks guys are all about the full size trucks, he said I will probably get more help with the blazer here. This is my first post and likely I'll have many more as I'm sure I'll need you guy's help in getting this thing back roadworthy again (my brother pretty much neglected it).
