Just found this forum a few days ago. Started by reading the posts on various problems I have fixed in the past (maybe could help). Instead I find a fix for the winshield wiper problems. I've been trying to fix that bad mother for 2 years now, never thought to check the solder joints with a magnifying glass. Had 9 cracked joints! Resoldered them all.
It's working great now and life is good! I want to thank swartlkk for the exellent DIY article. It helped.
btw it's a 98LT w/80k+ on it. Still going strong.
