First SUV (previously coming from 10 years of Mustangs); 2 kids finally reiterated the importance of having a vehicle w/ ample interior space.
1995 Blazer LS
4X4
4.3L Vortec
160+k miles
Just changed:
-plugs
-wires
-dist. cap and rotor
-fuel filter/fuel pump
So far I'm pleased w/ the vehicle. Handles well, plenty of room and enough compartment space for misc. paperwork, phone/mp3 player, sunglasses, etc.
Right before purchase, the vehicle was experiencing the ol' "crank but not start" issue. Since I was getting it for a steal anyway, I bit, knowing I would need to put a little work into it to turn it back into a stable daily driver. Gave it a complete tune up and replaced the fuel pump, and so far seems to have done the trick.
Last Chevy I owned was a '92 Beretta w/ close to 200k on the clock, and that little 3.1 got me from A-B for a good while (until Bambi sealed its fate.) I hope to get the same pleasure and life out of this Blazer, and will be actively combing and contributing to the forums! See ya around!
