Default checking in

just wanted to say hello. Hanging tight out here in West by God Virginia! It’s about zero degrees tonight and too cold to go work on my new Blazer K5. 1985 model with the 305 automatic. Hope to get some tips and tricks from folks who have covered Blazer ground before. Thanks for having me.

Hey, I’m maybe overlooking something but I don’t see a way on my page to start a new post. Is it because I’m new to the group or because I’m blind?

All depends on where you are attempting to post a new thread. The 'New Thread' button () will only show up in forum sections that you can post in. Some sections are closed depending on your usergroup. You are currently in a new user group that has restrictions placed on it as defined in the 'New Member Restrictions' announcement that you should see at the top of almost all of the forum sections.

For one reason or another, all of your posts are getting caught in the approval queue, but that should not limit your ability to post in those sections that are open for you to post in.

I appreciate that. I remember reading about that but it was a bit confusing to me. Not the sharpest tool in the shed I guess!

Default First look

did a fair amount of exploration on my 85 K5 today. This truck is in amazing shape! 41K miles and the frame is flawless. Body panels are all original and have minimal surface rust. Gonna give her a proper tune up and then hit the road. Should be a real blast from the past!
