Default Checking in from Central New York!

Ok well i was searching around on craigslist when i came upon a 1998 chevy blazer 2 door automatic for $150. So I came out and checked it out and the body was rough and he had started parting the truck out. I asked him why he did it and he said he thought the transfer case was bad. So i bought the truck for parts for my girlfriends blazer just to have and for the heck of it one day I went out and threw the jumpers on it and it started and ran really really well. I put it in drive and it started making all these god awfully noises so i had my girlfriend hold the breaks as i crawled under the truck i saw the driveshaft spinning. So i decided to fix the truck myself and drive it. I got a rear end, tensioner pully, idler pully, as compressor of our 96 with a blown motor along with the window regulator, and the four wheel drive shift actuator under the battery tray. Ive been driving the truck now for 4000 miles and have had no issues yet. I do have to fix the four wheel drive yet but i do on my girlfriends blazer too... im just a little intimidated by the 4wd system they seem pretty complicated. I have cut the plate on the throttle body and swiss cheesed my airbox though and it seems like it made i pretty good difference in performance lol.

Welcome to the forum from New York, downstate that is! Also, what is the 4wd doing or not doing? You should if you have not already post up in the tech section.
