Hello from Maryland's EasternShore. I just bought, & joined the club. I own
a '04 Xtreme w/70k mls.; 2nd owner; It's always & still is garage kept. That's
probably why the paint job is still in fantastic condition. Remarkably, the 1st
owner was an older lady, & was a maintenance freak. At 50k mls., she had
"ALL" the hoses/belts replaced, even the oiler cooler hoses, tranny filter/fluid
changed, & a full tune-up! She also had the O.E.M. bug shield & window rain
shades installed. I've never seen that. Those 3 pieces are usually after market
access. from the auto parts stores.
I bought it with 68k mls. on it, & drive it like my kids are in the back seat. My
wife has since waxed the hood, & waxed the whole driver side last night. She's
going to do the passgr. side tonight. That in itself is 'amazing'.
The interior is also in the same condition..Fantastic! Except for a little spot on
the carpeting where the side of the driver's shoe hits near the gas pedal. Other
than that, great shape, top to bottom.
Well that's me & my new found Xtreme. I hope to find helpful hints, tricks, parts, and access. Thx for reading, Steel Toe!
