Welcome! from down under.
Have a 2L V6 double over head cam non turbo that produces 200hp as a second car but doesn't have the torque of the blazer.Have owned push rod motors before & known these to be more of a work horse engine.

What a small world. I use to work at Mildenhall about 18 years ago when I lived in Brandon which is just down the road from Lakenheath. I'll take some pics this week of the Blazer and post them, I would have done it earlier but the wife uses it for work but she might be using the Kia next week so I will get time to fix it and take pics

OK here is a few pics of our truck 4D, 2WD auto. As you can see I need to fix the dent on the back door where someone threw a pumpkin at it and I need to replace the front bumper and grill where my step daughter (when learning to drive) hit a wall and bent up all the brackets and cracked the grill. Anyone got any suggestions on where to get these parts?

I also fitted today a new ICE system. Remote, MP3, USB, track title. Am also open to suggestions as to what else I could do with it just to tidy it up a bit. I have been told I can play a little, but what this means I'll have to see.

You can definitely get the parts you're looking for from http://www.lmctruck.com or from the dealer, not sure which one would be the better choice though... I generally stick to getting parts like that from the dealer or a wrecking yard (or as it seems to be called state-side a "U-pull it".) The reason I avoid ordering parts are the brokerage fees at the border, but you won't have that problem.

As a side note... you into Top Gear?

Top Gear is the best thing on the TV. I have just finished watching the latest one from the UK, the guys just keep getting better and better. FYI, for the people that have seen it or are about to see it my Grandfather use to have a Morris Ital that had been hand painted light blue using a brush and house paint...I kid you not, you could see and feel EVERY little brush stroke! all because his wife did not like brown.
