exhaust smells of gas rough idle
ok guys here we go first i started the truck and the motor runs t o smooth to be any t hing serious so i start thinking were getting alot of gas from somewhere i started reading here and you guysknow yourtrucks.. i pulled mycover off mine and i found a puddle on the driver side up front and a simular puddle up front on the passenger side i am posting image so you can see what i saw.
i am assuming i have bad lines do to the location and the way its all looking right now if my regulator was bad i think my passenger side would be completely clean and if the leak on t he driver side were more serious it would be clean also . the first quest ion is how does one go about removing the lines without damaging the unit ???????
thanks for being here and for making this info available have a great day

RE: exhaust smells of gas rough idle
There is a clip that holds the lines in place.
It definitely looks like your lines are leaking. On the passenger side, I'm not sure if your FPR is leaking as well or if that is just carry over from the other side (fuel drip that would cling and run along the underside of the spider itself). While you were in there though, I would replace the FPR with one of the new style units. Lindertech.com sells a kit.

i guess i was asking the wrong quest ion , how do you remove them from the cpi/spyder do they just pull out or are they pluged in some special way will i need any special tools to remove them i saw the clips that hold the lines into the intake thats easy but removing them from the cpi itself ?

Same deal. There is a metal clip which must be removed before the lines can be pulled out of the injector body.
