F-N-G from AZ
Well I'll go ahead and talk about my truck. I found a 1999 4WD 4Dr. Black LS Blazer with 112,000 miles on it about a month ago. Picked it up for $2,600. Everything works as advertised. Since buying it, I've added a Class III Tow Hitch (although I'll never tow something to that hitch's capacity), changed the oil and filter, changed air filter, cleaned the air intake assembly (except for the MAF sensor), cleaned the throttle body, replaced the fuel filter, changed the spark plugs, plug wireset, distributor cap and rotor, cleaned the battery terminals, drained and refilled the coolant (did not flush it... though i need to soon due to some rust), replaced tranny fluid, cleaned rear differential gears and replaced oil, serviced front differential, replaced a bunch of seals.
I didn't have an "oh ****" excuse for doing such work. I figured, hell, it's a nine year old car with over 100,000 miles on it, and I have no idea when the last time any of it was done, so why not. Talked the wife into giving me the thumbs up and killed two days.
Justin.
