Default finally bought the blazer

I posted awhile back asking about 4.3 and blazer reliability--and was very pleased with the friendly and helpful responses I got--I have been a longtime Jeep cherokee owner-but the time had come to get out at 198k--so I went to a county vehicle action and got a 2003 4dr 2wd blazer (67k miles)that seemed to be in excellant mechanical shape--I have got a lot of work to get the county decals off--but once this is done it should look ok--this county in FL. lets you download maintenance records and --no accidents oil change and reg maintenance thru-out its life--so time to clean it up--I will try to upload a "before foto"--any decal removal and or polishing compound suggestions welcome
thanx

Its good to see a new blazer owner come to the BF. I would love to see some pictures when you get done pulling off the decals.

Welcome to the site! Very nice blazer and I would def get a hair dryer to remove those decals. Btw I fixed your photo for you so people can see it.

Didn't notice it on the big pic, but on the smaller one it looks like the headlights aren't in the correct tabs. They look real close to the hood with a large gap between the bottom of the lights and the top of the center-bar on the grille. Have you noticed that you don't get good light coverage on the road at night?

Looks good! Acetone works good to get any residue off after the decals come off and before you start polishing. Just make sure to wipe it off good.
