Hi.

I bought my 2000 Jimmy SLS in '06. Love it. Currently doing a bunch of work on it - lower intake manifold gasket went, so I figured it was time to do a bunch of other stuff I've been meaning to do, but didn't have the time + money + backup vehicle to do it. I'm actually enjoying it, for the most part - I'm definitely not a mechanic & had never done much more than minor stuff (plugs/wires/cap, brake pads) so this have been a heck of a learning experience. Worst part was getting my exhaust manifolds off (studs were rusted solid, bolts were almost as bad) and the heater core which had just developed a small leak. Thanks to this thread for getting me thru that! (having the top end of the engine out made life much easier)

Anyway, I'll probably post some pix of the process in my album, at some point. In the meantime, I'll just crack a beer, tip it in your direction, "Cheers!", and drink 'er down...
