I"m new to this forum. I just bought an 84 K5. 4 years ago it was a fresh build and with the new red and white paint looked fantastic. It seems it got few if any wash jobs since then. Now it needs lots of sheet metal repair/replacement. I plan to restore the old girl. I'm starting with the tailgate. It has a 350, 700r4 with 10 bolt front and rear axles. Nothing too exciting. It has a pretty nice interior but that will get some attention too. I have built Fiero's for years. I'm so happy to be working on some real steel! No more plastic for me. I hope to run into some of you folks from Minnesota! This format is new to me so this old dog has some new tricks to learn.
