millenniumfalcon is on a distinguished road
Default Finally picked it up

I bought it on Friday night, and after a few days of driving, I'm happy with it. I know I will need to do an oil change, coolant flush, and spark plugs in the next week. The previous owner was going to do all of this before I purchased, but wasn't able to get to the shop, so he knocked a little bit off the price for me. That should all be done at the beginning of next week, and I'm going to get the front tires balanced at the same time. He showed me where a wheel weight fell off one of the fronts, and I can feel a slight vibration at freeway speeds. Other than that, the stereo install will happen at some point, but I'm in no rush really. I must say that after owning a '91 K2500, '96 K2500, '01 Duramax, and '02 Trailblazer, it really is like going home again. It's been two years since my Trailblazer, and even though it isn't exactly the same, all the controls and gauges are essentially in the same area, which means they are exactly where I am accustomed. I'll start the inevitable build thread once new stuff starts going onto the vehicle.
