Have 2 and glad to see there is a forum
I am a DIYer when it comes to working on vehicles. My first Blazer is a 1995 LT 2WD that me and my wife really like. When the tranny went out we needed another vehicle to get us by until I could get around to redoing the tranny. We found a 2001 LT 2WD that we both really like and just had to get it even though it was more than we really set out to spend. We was going to just by a half running junker to get buy for awhile and then sell it once the 95 was back on the road.
So far I have yet to rebuild the 95 tranny but I do have the video and books for the job just need to finish removing it (still have 2 hard to reach top bolts holding it in) and get to work. The 2001 still runs and drives fine but with a noise and vibration problem in the drive train it prompted me to find some info on the net. Have not found a way to ride under the truck while it is going down the road so I am hoping someone might have an answer for me here.
Just to let you know we have been driving the 2001 for a year now. Yep I am still working on getting the tranny out of the 95. In my defence for the slacking off, the 2001 has been running very good for the past year so I didn't see any real pressure in getting things done.
WOW! A forum just for us Blazer people. So many posts and so little time, but I will read as many as I can andhopefully there will be a few things I have learned in my years of owning Blazers that I can share with others.
This forum has just been favorited!

Have not found a way to ride under the truck while it is going down the road so I am hoping someone might have an answer for me here. Alright so all you have to do is get on a skateboard on your back and hold on to something metal underneath your blazer. This makes it so much easier..... anyways welcome to the forum
