Default hello everyboady "hello doctor nick"

lol sorry bout the tittle just love the Simpson and i couldn't help my self.

well the name is travis.

i just bought my 83 s10 blazer about 2 and a half hours ago and after a half hour drive to get it home i came up with a nice long list of things that need to be looked at and taken car of lol.

well like i said its an 83 it is 2door not sure if 4 door was an option for this year, auto 4x4 and its a v6 the catalysis is about 70% percent gone so im not sure what the size of the motor is im not sure bout all the diff options for motors on these years but me thinks its a 2.8L.

ive had alot of cars in my short few years but i hope to have this one for a long time. in the last two years i have really taken up fishing and camping at the lake and well a 91 Honda hatch back was not making that easy so the way i seen it a 2door s10 blazer was the only solution to my problems.

im looking forward to working on it and sharing the progress with you folks

So wait... you are going to lower your 4WD Blazer that will be used for camping and fishing?

Also I believe the engine for the 88 S10s was the 4.3... at least it seems to be the most common

yea i wanna lower it i dont want to slam it just lower it. i already adjusted the torsion bars down in the front by my best guesstimate it came down buy about an 1.5inch. and i really dont want to get to much lower then that maybe just an inch. mine is a 83 so no 4.3

I'm sure you can sell those rims for a pretty penny and get something useful.
