ZR2HEAD is on a distinguished road
Default Hello Everyone from Windy City Chi-Town

I have a ZR2 Blazer dark cherry metallic and its 140,000 miles old (2001). I am the original owner and put in a brand new complete motor at 125,000 miles. runs outstanding! Toady I just put on a new set of Yokohama A/T 32s, it has a suttle 2" lift kit and the new rubber really enhances the look. I have a lot of cosmetic things I need to do like re-paint my fender flares, rear bumper touchup, undercoat frame rails etc. I will also be doing some much needed maintenance myself, particularly on the suspension (joints and pitman arm). I'm hoping the forum can help me along. I also have quite a bit to offer the forum with my 10 years of ZR2 Blazer ownership. Looking forward to sharing our thoughts!

What part of Chicago? I grew up at 84th & Stoney Island, 2 years at Bowen High School in South Chicago, before we moved to Cal City, worked at 74th & Exchange after High School. Went to University of Ill @ Chicago after I got out of the Navy. Ran the Chicago Marathon in 2002. But I have been living in the South MS since 1991.

I used to go the the Burger King that was right by CVS on a regular basis. I used to work construction and was on a long term job at a high rise at 67th Crandon. Used to ICE Skate at Stoney Island Park off of 87th Street. Moved out of the neighborhood in 1971.
