Hello, new to the forum. :)
Hello,
I thought I'd join this forum since I own a 2002 Chevy Blazer and it would be one of the best places to get advice on any problems I may have with my vehicle. I've had my Blazer since 2006, and it's been the best vehicle I've had so far, it really sucked when I got in a light wreck earlier this year, and I figured with most automotive omens that once you wreck it once everything starts to fall apart and it sort of has.
I've been having issues with my Blazer running in a rich condition, I've had the P0172, and P0175 codes come on and off over the last year or longer but honestly I can't remember when it started since it wasn't very consistent.
Anyways over this last year and more recently I've replace the 02 sensors, the ABS sensors, fuel pump, fuel filter, ignition coil, the distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs and wires, and then the spider injector. I had to replace the spark plugs a second time because the new ones had become fouled, probably from my truck still running in a rich condition and it'll probably happen again unless I can figure out the problem.
Aside from all the components in the fuel system we check the lines from the tank and vapor canister to the injectors and they were all clear so nothing was clogged so the rich condition isn't being caused by a fuel system malfunction as far as I can diagnose it. There may be an electrical problem but I'm doubting that for now because I just got my truck back from a GM dealership this morning and they said I have a coolant leak from the lower intake manifold.
So my question is whether or not a coolant leak from the intake manifold would cause a rich condition? I apologize for throwing a long winded question in the newbie introduction thread, if someone could tell me where to repost this question or if this problem has come up before this specifically then direct me there please.
I appreciate it and I'm glad to have joined this forum too.
