Hello! My name is Rob! I just bought my blazer a few days ago, it's a 1996 LT 4X4 with a 305ci V8 and a 700R4 trans, It has a 3" body lift and is sitting on 31"X10.5"X15".
Its a solid truck(thats rare for its age in northern Il) but had its share of problems, mostly from sitting for two years, I had to do brakes(the pads fell off the backing when I pulled the calipers off) and fix a bunch of corroded wiring along with a leaky fuel tank! this should get it through the winter and I plan to tare it down and fix everything else this summer like rewiring 4X4 push button wiring, replacing the headers, one is leaking. I also plan to install a timing gear drive as timing chains do not like me,I've crashed 5 motors from broken timing chains.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!
I cant wait to start cleaning this thing up under the hood and suspension parts, Ive been looking for a reason to start doing some powder coating and I think this truck gives me that reason, I already have a stove/oven in the garage I use for homebrewing beer so I can get into powder coating for around $150, I also plan on buying a blast cabinet for cleaning up all the parts on this project.
Plenty of pics to come this summer
