Smile Hello from Southern California

Hi! New to the forum and new to the owner of a White ZR2 Blazer.

So recently I was in the mood to get myself (for my bday) an S10, I looked all over and I was settling on a Xtreme S10 or Blazer. Eventually I found a white ZR2 for sale and jumped at the chance, I don't see many ZR2's rolling around. Shes an ol' gal with a lot of miles, a few leaks, some worn ball joints but she starts right up and shifts in to all the 4x4 options easily.

I've already gutted the interior and am in the process of replacing it with better condition parts. Once the interior is done, onto the suspension, then Motor and finally paint.

I'm excited to work on this Blazer. Thanks for having me.

Welcome to the forum. This is the place to be to keep your ZR2 on the road.

BTW, nice score to get a ZR2. Also, know that others have reported that when getting front suspension parts like the control arms, the ones for the ZR2 are not always listed.

Yes thank you! The previous owner himself was regretting selling me the Blazer after the fact. He had already went ahead and had it smogged, ordered replacement CA plates (it had Oregon plates when he got it), paid the registration, changed the shocks on all four wheels and the list goes on. So I really lucked out on all that!

Oh yeah difinitely! Its funny to think but before I got this ZR2, I never really looked for them on the road. Now that I own one I am always on the lookout and see maybe one or two here and there. It would be funny if we all did like the thumbs up or hand wave like bikers do when they pass each other haha!
