Hello Everybody. I just purchased a Blazer and figured I'd join a forum, so in the future if I needed any help or info. I'd have a place to come to. Let me start off by telling you how I ended up with a Blazer. First let me say "I love this little truck!" Back in December I saw on ebay a 04 blazer for sale. It looked real clean, and the seller was close by. I never gave it any thought about purchasing a Blazer. I was looking for a S-10 pickup. But this one vehicle caught my eye. So I placed a bid the last 15 seconds of the auction and won it for $4100. It was white 4 door 4-wheel drive, 91k, had carbon fiber all underneath it. Plain jane with front bench seat. Turns out in was the local code inspectors truck. The guy purchased it at the local county auction and cleaned it and resold it. I was pissed at myself! Because I knew about the county auctions held once a month and I was already a registerd member. I completely forgot about it. Well 10 days after ownership and three days before X-Mass I totaled it!! I was pissed. During those 10 days I fell in love with this truck. I expected the Ins. company to low ball me. Well to my surprise they gave me 7k! So this time I went to the following auction this month, I like the county auction because you get ALL the Maintenance records from day one till day of sale.! They had one blazer up for auction, along with vans and fire trucks. This blazer was a fire chiefs vehicle. It was a 05 loaded with tow package and everything. BUT was filthy, dirty smelled of smoke and still had some decals on the front doors, and had 121k. Plus a pair of fireman boots and hard hat. LOL. BUT the turn out for this auction was small, due to after X-Mass no one had any $$, And before tax time. I placed a low ball bid thinking I was not going to win. Low and behold I won. there were 20 bids and I was the highest. I outbid the last person by $15. bucks! I got the blazer for $2795. The last few days I have been detailing it, It came out great! When I learn how to post pics I will. Well thats my story.

Thanks, I wish we could take some of your cold down here! It's been VERY warm this winter! Today was 82 in Palm Beach. 20 degrees above normal! I'm afraid this summer will be too hot… I de-badged the blazer today. I like the clean look of it with out them.
