I don't own the Jimmy it is my wife's, however I am the one who has to maintain it and do the necessary repairs. We have had it since new in 2005, a 2dr automatic, that really has been trouble free. The oil and filter are replaced every 5000 kilometers. For one of my winter projects, I get to go through it and fix what ever is necessary. So far, I have replaced the brakes front and rear-calipers, pads, rotors on both, flushed the transmission (at dealership), new tyres, a little larger then stock, replaced the transfer case, diff, and power steering fluids. Replaced the spark plugs and cap and rotor and repaired the drivers seat for not tilting back. All of this is just wrench work, but the next problem is the check engine light.
