Default Hey from Atlanta area...

Hey from Atlanta area...

Acquiring a 2002 Blazer, that previous owner managed to replace the LIM with the wrong model. Apparently has been overheating since , possible warped heads. Someone even mentioned cracked block.

Well I haven't had my hands on it yet, but we will soon see what I am getting myself into..

Always wanted a Blazer , well here's my chance in all it's entirety

Thanks for allowing me to join. Should be quite a ride I am sure..

Dash clusters do go bad. I changed out one its fairly easy. Be careful pulling the dash trim away. I did not or forgot one screw and went to pull it out and the border chipped away but I have a dash pad over everything so it cannot be seen but at least my gauges work.

Ohh no.....Trollerguy...This is a different sorta "cluster"....In different terms , it's cluster-effed... lol ...The gauge cluster would be a walk in the park compared to this..

Thank you. Don't even have it yet, so I am not sure what I will be contending with as of yet. Should have it by sometime this week. Just hope it is as simple as the wrong intake with an intake leak.

But as we delve into the unknown, I will surely be here seeking knowledge and probably an ounce of motivation as well.

My goal is to get it going smooth stock and workout all the bugs , then proceed into a lift kit with 31's.

Sorry about the "cluster" mistake. Hang in there when you do get it then you can get it running and enjoy the sounds you put out from your stereo while driving it around. Can't get any better. You will be boss of the road!
