Default hi all outa Lithuania

bin reading your forum for some time and signed up in hope to get more good info about my old ZR2 that I bought new in Germany in 1998
its my every day driver now after I sold my H2 four weeks ago
this Rig is nothing but pain most times.......right now my biggest prob.is it is using fuel like crazy now....almost as much as my H2 did .....
about 18 liters on a 100 KM's
other than that I went thrue all the sh***t that other members here had to fight........for wheel Drive not working.....Heating prob....twice bustet front Brake line....and and and....to much to write it all down here
all happened over a lot of driving .....275000 Kilometers
well..... didn't come here to cry my heart out.... just want to read and find some good Info so I can keep that Rig for some time
couple pix attached.....BTW had the first snow here last night
talk to you

Welcome from the "Land of the Long White Cloud".

18ltr/100km is my regular consumption. (town driving 14-15 open road)

Should that not have thrown out a code? If that's the case & this part improves the gas milage, I'll order one too

hey kiwiblazer ...I filled up again friday and had to put in 41 liters for only 213 Km's (that is more than my H2 used) .........I have this rig 13 years now (bought it new) and got 13 to 14 liters to 100 Km's...when I drove it here to Lithuania last year from Germany 1700 Km's I got it down to 11,5 ltr to 100 Km's....
so have yours checked......or maybe you have a heavy foot.....
and right in time.....(we on -10 celsius here ) my heating went off again...
but flushed the core.....working again....was freezing my a$$ off outside

Welcome to the forum!

Do yourself a favor and do not get the Bosch junk. AC Delco or NGK only!

For more tech help, please post up in the appropriate technical section.
