Default Hi. Canadian Blazer owner checking in...

Greetings everyone. I purchased a 1996 Blazer LT AWD from a workmate recently. Aside from having 295000 Km it is in fantastic condition and runs great. Since I am only the second owner, looking at all the maintenance records tells that it was well taken care of plus I have see this guy drive it to our work for the last 14 years or so and he always kept it clean.

This is my second Blazer, my first was a '73 4x4 that I drove for over 6 years back in the early 80's. I'm pretty impressed with this '96 so far. It has new brakes and Continental SUV tires on it and the intake manifold gasket was done last year at the dealership. I have one issue that I need to address and that's a leaking oil pan gasket but I'll post that in the tech forum.

Cheers!

Heh, I actually signed up before I purchased it so I could do some research and post if I had to but it was easy to find most of the info. Seems like a good group of people here that really enjoy these vehicles.

OK, I'm done sucking up. Carry on...
