Default Hi from Croatia

Hey guys !
I live in Croatia and i own a '95, 4.3L, automatic transmission blazer.
I inherited the truck from my parents and so far i enjoy it.
Due to a terrible service here (mechanics havent got a clue about US trucks) blazer is a bit of a mess but im doing my best to fix everything that needs fixing
The truck has around 95000 miles, 20k miles ago the engine reparation was made because the engine was running without oil (dont ask), last week the transmission reparation was done.
As far as i know there is only one car shop here that services US cars so was getting the parts through them but the problem is that a lot of them are not originals and come from china. Changed thermostat couple of weeks ago and the gauge doesnt come near 100 degrees celsius where it should be, instead it sits on first marker (think its 70).
Compared to the other cars i had, the handling of blazer is awful and so is mpg (around 13,7mpg and i was trying to be easy on the gas ) but i still love it! The space, the comfort...
There are a few changes i would like to make in near future. For one i would like to put in a double DIN radio, possibly with GPS system. I just cant drive around with cassette player any longer . There are some chinese noname radios that i could get pretty cheap, dont know if they are any good though. Also i would like to put in xenon HID kit because the original head lights are pretty poor. Also dont know how it will work because i dont have lenses in head lights :/
Thats about it for now.

Anyways, great forum you got here and i know i will be learning a lot from you guys!

Edit: added the photos

It's not a good comparison - cars versus trucks- big difference.
