RE: hi fellow blazer owners
I bought a 1996 LT 4 door 4wd about a month ago. Before I buy it I read a lot in this form ;) great place to be.
The first thisI have done is ; lifting the front by torsion rods. Also replaced the brake disks and pads, Replaced all fluids and filters, also added a drop in K&N air filter. Also I have an empty Cat converter ;) nice sound with the factory muffler for now ;) Now Im planning to replace shocks, I have two failed shocks, I found gabriel gas ryder VTS shocks here in the parts store, Im thinking of buying and installing them. |

I did the socks on my 2001 Blazer you will need Jack Stands and a Heavy Duty Jack. Also have somebody help you with it. It is a pain in the A**

RE: hi fellow blazer owners
Thanks for the warm replies.
Hey quinnman105, thanks for the advise, previously I have completed total restoration of my 74 camaro z28, keeping up with the restoration of 96 vette, therefore I have a well equipped garage here. My only concern is most jackstands are far east made, Im not sure to trust their advertised carrying capacity:eek:I have a 3ton jack available. Buying a lift is one of my future plans :) |
RE: hi fellow blazer owners
When my buddy & I did my shocks we used a heavy duty jack and heavy duty jack Stands. Not sure what kind he has but they did the job not only on my truck. We also used them on our friends Dodge Pick-Up.

RE: hi fellow blazer owners
Very nice truck! I like the visor and the small deflector on the back, too. I think I can actually see the reflection of your Camaro in the paint of your Blazer, no? By the way, here's a little something to use as a signature if you're so inclined:

RE: hi fellow blazer owners
Ireally liked the signature, its a cool work ,I would like to use it.
