hi from indiana
hey, i bought a 1998 bravada back in april with about 150k on the odo, and just figured this forum would be a great source of info, since it is basically a blazer with a NP-136 transfer case and an olds logo, right?
hopefully i can get it fixed up so it's a reliable DD. it's in good shape visually, and the drivetrain is ok, but it's got a few issues.
had to replace the radiator almost right away.
just redid the front suspension with new front hubs, new front axles, front shocks, endlinks, balljoints, tie rods, and an idler arm. not looking forward to doing a pitman arm, but it is on the future to-do list, along with rear shocks.
brakes have been cheaply done by the shady dealer i bought it from. already had to replace a sticking rear caliper. the pads the dealer used look like cheap chinese replacement crap, and will probably go in the trashbin soon.
look forward to any tips you guys can give to make this thing last for a while.
