Default Hi from KS

Hi. I'm new to the blazer club, but well educated in automotive repair and building. I've got a 2002 blazer 4x4 and it's been my secret for not building a savings account.

Welcome! This is place to be to learn all things Blazers; especially their quirks! LOL

To me the most important thing for new owners to learn because it can ruin the engine in less than a minute is that sometimes at this age, the lower intake manifold (LIM) gaskets will fail catastrophically and pour coolant into the lifter valley and then the crank bearings get ruined.

Oh, and never tow anything in overdrive. (I learned that expensive lesson the hard way!)

Thanks. Now if I can get it running right I'll be happy.
