Hello.

I'm Jessie, new here and just wanted to say hi for now. I attach 2 pics right away. The first one shows me and the second one shows Betty.
Betty is a proud K5 from 1980, wich makes us the same age. Lol.
My handsome husband bought her for me for our 1st anniversary and i ride that gorgeous lady as a daily now. She's incredibly healthy, a couple of spots here and there but all in all in a solid shape for her age. She definitely needs a cosmetic makeover and she'll get it next year along with some upgrades.
The engine is a 350ci (5.7l V8 Carburator), the 4x4 still works great and electrics and mechanics are perfectly fine. I turn the key and the engine starts. I love that truck.
To me: i'm 36, married, i live in Lincoln Nebraska and well, now i love trucks. Hahaha
I used to drive imports and race them but now i'm a truck girl. I'm a laid back, down to earth, do it yourself girl.
I'm here to find answers and maybe even friends. :-)
