Howdy!
How's it going? I've been hanging out and reading stuff here for a few weeks and like what I see. Nice to meet you all.
I drive a 1997 Chevy Blazer LS. Decent vehicle, except for the fuel economy. However, once I weigh what it costs me to run vs. buying something new it is still quite a bit cheaper... so, I keep and enjoy it.
I've done a couple of things to it and I like how easy it is to work on...
Replaced front brake pads
Replaced all four shocks with Monroe Sensatracs.
Replaced anti-sway bar bushings.
Removed roof racks (waiting to fill the holes and repaint).
Modified the air box to get more air into the engine.
There are still a couple of things I'd like to do...
Build a custom fiberglass subwoofer box in the boot.
Add an AUX in to the factory deck.
Fix/replace the drivers seat so that it goes down far enough (I'm fairly tall and need the head room - damn sunroof!)
Put a smaller muffler than the stock one.
That's it for now. Nice to meet y'all!
