Intro history and thanks
I have great appreciation for this group. I'll try not to make this lengthy while being thorough. My name is Kristi. I just turned 50 yesterday. Bought my 2002 blazer, Beatrice, in August of 22. My first V6, 4.3 vortex 4x4. Beatrice is the first car I really worked on , aside from minor maintenance..... Here I would like to add I joined this group at the beginning of 23. Due to my own security and phone issues, I had to just join again. Wanted to note that because I really admire and appreciate what you have going on here. I was really floored by the magnitude of knowledge and massivness of this group. 🙂 I did not go through the hoops and take the time to introduce myself....
I Am not sure if I will be able to keep Beatrice.. Trying to keep it short.. But I at least want to give her thr decency of not giving up.
I will be starting around brakes, rear ends, wheel bearings and axles. So that's probably more than you wanted but thanks for the space and wisdom.

Thanks for the compassion and direction. I did submit a new thread in one of the forums yesterday afternoon. I am just now able to check for results. And most definitely! I have turned into quite the backyard mechanic. I'm 5ft.1 in and have had to stand on top of the engine for leverage. I have a whole new respect for mechanics. Yet, interestingly enough, every job my blazer needed, in the end, I had to do it. I have learned much🙏
Hi Kristi. Welcome to the forum! There's tons of very knowledgeable people here, and we try to be friendly and helpful. I know I've received tons of help with keeping my trucks running over the years. I'm on my 2nd S-series truck right now, and with the help of the forum it's still going strong.
