Just bought a 2000 trailblazer prbolem child on Long Island
Hey everybody, new to the forum , real excited to have joined. I bought a 2000 trailblazer, that has given me nothing but problems. Although this truck is amazing, so versatile, this highway vibration is killing me,. Looking forward to learning a lot here and seeing some sick blazers. Im totally hooked, blazers 100%

Originally from farmindale, now in north babylon. bought this thing for its capabilities, from a mechanic in bethpage. feel like i bought a lemon, just changed thermostat today. everything that is going seems to be routine maint at 110,000 though. except this highway vibration
So far I have done:
Both front hub assemblys
Upper/lower ball joints both sides
Replaced front drive shaft with used one, had bad cv
Idler ARM
Tires, rebalanced twice
Left motor mount
And more just not really related to vibrations

i went with the definity h/t at pepboys, i know i cheaped out a little, but ive used them before on my old acura and got great mileage outta them. It starts around 55 mh, and doesnt go away, but lessens. I think this may be something with my drive train now. then again this is all new to me, learning a lot,
My next guess would poss be universal joints on the driveshaft, that to me would be the least expensive item to have checked and replaced..its an easy thing to check at home, as far as replacing them, i`m pretty sure you`ll need a torch for heat to melt the cording out of the drive shaft to be able to get the joints out...If you`d like send me an email and i`ll try and explain the checking part at home to ya..
