Default Just bought a ZR2

Picked up an 01 ZR2 last weekend. Has a few things need to fix, but for $3650 I'm pretty happy with it. Have to do a water pump this weekend on it.

Welcome. Like I said in the other thread, that's a sweet rig you got there. What tires are those?

The tires are Maxis Bighorn. There were 5 of them, but the guy I bought it from said the spare was stolen the night before I bought it. He was pretty desperate for cash, so I had a sneaking feeling it was sold and not stolen. Either way I had to get a new spare.

This weekend I need to do a water pump on it. Doesn't look like too tough a job, much easier than pulling the engine out of my IROC. Gonna be weird working on something I don't have to put on jack stand to work on

I'm not into camo. I like the way it looks now. I did manage to pick up another stock wheel to match the other four. I'm pulling the brush guard off today and replacing the valance and tow hooks. The only off roading I'll ever do is a ditch on in a snow snow bank, and I hope that never happens.

I'd keep the brush guard on, makes it look really cool.
