Default My New Ride

Just bought a 2002 Blazer LS a couple of days ago. She's in really good shape body wise, with the exception of the front and rear bumpers which are rusty, the rest of the body is in great shape. I have had a couple of first gen blazers in the past. It's kind of a love / hate relationship. I have multiple things to fix on this thing. But I knew that going in. I will try to post some pictures of the work I will be doing. Starting with the HVAC system. I am glad I found a place with other Blazer junkies!

The list of things to fix is getting longer...lol. I have to fix the bumpers both front and rear are rusty, especially the front. The steering is loose. Brakes are squealing, I suspect it's the rears, also vibration when braking, also suspecting the rears on that. I have a cracked drivers side mirror (electric / heated ). HVAC system is FUBAR, the vent selector controls don't work, I have started another thread on that. I get noise over the radio when the truck is running, not sure what is causing that. Looks like it's going to be a busy summer!

Sounds like it! Remember to tackle each issue as a new project so you don't get burned out trying to fix everything at once.

Oh, and good luck!
